Paul am not sure if they are still operating or not but can tell you they show up on webtrak when leaving Bankstown, when I last was on that site admittedly a number or months ago the CVLT left Bankstown and was headed for Melbourne shows up arriving down there too. Sorry I cant be of more help than that. Cheers Mark

Paul,
TOLL B733's have taken over the Adelaide flight I think it routes ADL-SYD-MEL-ADL. Last covair flight out of Adelaide was the 8th of June.

Just checked my SBS d/b which shows PDW last entry 19th April and PDX 24th June.
I did visit Bankstown on 27th May and saw one Convair in the hangar with work being done.

There was a Convair parked on the tarmac minus rudder and engines last week. I wonder if it has been downgraded to spare parts. The other Convair looked active.
There was a Toll Turboprop ATR-42 parked there also.
Perhaps this plane is taking over from the Convairs.

Pionair Convair 580 VH-PDX was parked outside the hanger at Bankstown on Sunday 3rd July. Paul F. had word from a reliable source
that two of the Convair 580s are now owned by Toll (I am just trying to confirm this).

PDX operated CNS-BNE-MEL last Saturday 16th and CNS-BNE-Bankstown last Tuesday the 19th.
Remember they were planned to operate BNE-CNS-POM of which they received iasc approval so mayby they have started this route but only out of CNS ???

I have been in Cairns this week, and from the Qantas Club this afternoon I could see one of the Convairs parked on the opposite side of the airport. It was gone when I was boarding the aircraft, not sure if it departed or was moved to a hanger.
