As i was tinkering away in the garage i heard an unusual sound. An a380 had taken off on rwy 25-07.And its the first time ive seen an a380 take off over kogarah/bexley. I was too slow to get the camera out.Does it happen often?
Could it of taken off fully loaded or is it capable to do it on the short runway

Just under a week ago QF11 Super too RWY25 for departure as well as Delta and VA1. So it depends on how strong the winds are I guess.

I think every operator of the A380 to Sydney has used Runway 25 to takeoff somewhere down the track.

Here is an Emirates A380 taking off runway 25, it got up quite early it appears:

Here's VH-OQH departing off runway 25 on Saturday. An awesome sight from this angle. I've seen both Qantas and Emirates A380's use this runway, but never a Singapore.

I think that THIS (http://www.airliners.net/photo/Qantas/Airbus-A380-842/1949433/L/) is a better image really... It really shows the 'unique' style of the A380!

Not that theres anything wrong with yours Steven!! :D :D :p :p :D :D

Just curious, has UA ever used 25/07 for departure? I've never seen them use it, I suppose the 747 is too heavy going to the States to use the crosswind?

UA 747s do use 25 sometimes when they head down to Melbourne but for the US they most likely do not.
