Brad,

SQ211-232 changed from a B772 to a B773 around about the 15/6/2011. thats according to the acars lists. The B772's that were used on this flight were good as it was a mixture of SQ* and the SR* block. For me I was interested in the SQ* block when I went to Sydney as us Adelaide spotters used to get the SR* block prior to the A333's.

Currently it is a ok mic of aircraft SQ fly to Sydney.
SQ221-212 A380
SQ211-232 B773
SQ232-222 A380
SQ241-242 B772 (This is probabaly the best out of the lot. The SV* block were the more rareer ones to visit Australia when Singapore used to mostly fly B772's down under)

Jaryd,

The Star Alliance B773 9V-SYE is in a different 3 class configuration to that of a couple of others in the SY* block. sydney seem to be getting SYF, SYG and SYJ alot which are still 3 class config. But the amount of seats in each is different. You get some of the other SY* black in, i think thats if one of the 3 above are having maintainace performed on it

The B772 9V-SRE has left the fleet, do there is only 2 aircraft left in the whole SQ fleet with these titles. 9V-SYE and 9V-SPP. I thought there was another B773 which was recently had the Star alliance put on it. I thought it was 9V-SYI, but I could be wrong. i will have find some more info on that, nut I could be wrong.

Checked my SBS logs which confirms what Stefan was saying. 9V-SYA thru 9V-SYE were regular up to Dec 2010. SYE operated SQ285 to AKL back in Feb this year but nothing since.

This is my only photo of SYE taken back in 2004:

Stefan, you are correct in saying another SQ plane has been painted into star alliance colours. It is a 777-200 and the rego is 9V-SRI.

SRI has the Star Alliance scheme now Stefan after SRE went to TSO. SYE operated SQ233/234(once that I saw) a while ago when the 773s were on that route.

Thanks for the confirmation. I knew the rego ended with an 'I', i just couldn't think which B777 block it was in.
