Live ATC sure is interesting at the moment. A virgin aircraft made an attempt for a 16, did a go around. SQ 227 decided to have a go, did a go-around, Korean Air is currently holding.
UPDATE: Singapore 227 heading to SYD, Cathay 135 heading to ADL. Royal Brunei is about to attempt an arrival.

What a joke. And Melbourne continually says it wonders why international airlines aren't choosing to fly here as opposed to SYD.

Air China 177 also diverted B-6076 was rego.

Looks as though everything is cleared up now, and aircraft are slowly getting in, just will take a while now to clear the backlog of aircraft which are circling.

So it's fair to say you understand the complexity of such a system, and can make direct comparisons with the reliability of systems used by other Australian ports?
