Anyone got or used this lens? Not the EF-S, but the L-series. I'm told it was released about six months ago.

I hired this lens for Avalon this year and was very impressed with the results - nice and sharp. Also weight and bulk wise it's very easy to carry around all day without needing physio afterwards. I hired through rentalens.com.au, great service and very reasonable rates.
