British Airways New Advertising Campaign

Hi all.
British Airways today launched a new advertising campaign which will include press adverts and several new tv commercials the first of which can be viewed at the link below..
Not sure if its due to air on Australian tv.

Agree with Chris, what a lovely film/advert they've made recognising their past aircraft types and their predecessors.

Agreed, they are all beautifully made films with great attention to detail. BA needs to improve it's economy product to suit taller pax before I will consider flying them again long haul. But I wish them well & hope that Sydney will get the A380 or 777-300ER's when enough have been delivered.

Good looking adverts but I can't get the volume on my computer.

Great memories from my younger days and I wish British Airways all the best and sincerely hope they do well and back up the advertsing with genuine interest, real service and substance.

I also remember the "Minimum of Fuss" ads from the 70s with I think Captain Brian Trubshaw in the "starring" role.

Great ad!! I'm a little curious as to who is doing the voice over. It doesn't strike me as being a particularly English accent - if anything I thought it was possibly Australian. Perhaps they have different voice overs for the different countries where it will be screened.

The voice over sounds like an Aussie who has been living in the UK for a while:) excellent ad for British Airways , have flown them before and will again - great airline !!!!!!!

The voice over is by English actor Jack Davenport who played James Norrington in The Pirates of The Caribbean and best known for his roles in the U.K television series This Life,and Coupling . He has also appeared in many other Hollywood films such as The Talented Mr. Ripley. More recently, Davenport was part of the ensemble cast of characters in the drama series FlashForward.

Haha, thats obviously very different to the last advert but I like. Good laugh, and well done I thought!

Of course, Great Britian had to win....they don't win much else after all do they!
