QF802 returning to PER?

just had a mate inform me QF802 just hit a bird?
returning back to Perth
can see it now on FL24

VH-EBP is operating the flight, was circling out over the ocean and now looks to be returning.

Someone I know was on this flight, and has informed me that it occurred on takeoff resulting in a partial engine failure.

I was driving down Horrie Miller Drive when this happened. I didn't see it but i knew something like a bird strike occurred as the landing gear stayed down and the throttles came back fast...
