Scrolling through the AIP supplements this afternoon I found a few which indicate Barack Obama will be visiting Australia between 15 and 17 of November.. Unfortunately he won't be visting Sydney, but Darwin and Canberra.
Here are the supplements if anyone is interested;
Darwin (http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/aip/current/sup/s11-h62.pdf)
Canberra (http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/aip/current/sup/s11-h63.pdf)

I've been meaning to ask, can anyone remember back when president Bush visited Canberra ( can't remember year ) if all support aircraft went to Canberra or some went to other base's such as Richmond ?
Example: when Bush was here for OPEC, AF1 came in to YSSY but the back up aircraft went to Richmond...

Yes I remember, it was APEC 2007. Yes USAF support aircraft normally parked in Richmond because of space limitations in Sydney and for other reasons also.
An USAF C-17 brang equipment in for Bush in Sydney, it later departed to Richmond. It stayed shortly and then departed next day. It arrived back in Sydney via Richmond to pick the stuff it left off originally. Heaps of C-17s came in through Richmond and Brisbane. I think an USAF C-20 gulfstream also went to Richmond. As you mentioned the back up AF1 went to Richmond also. The reason all these planes came in plus many more was for APEC, when Obama visits next month we will see C-17 atleast as support aircraft but nowhere near the giant convey USAF brang in 2007.
