QF's newest ship flew out to the lake today as 'Boeing 562'.
Thought you might like a look at what we do to new 737 tires up here....:D

I saw VZA in Adelaide a few months ago. VZB should be delivered soon.

Hi guys,
The first photo was an illustration of an RTO (Rejected take off) test. Some people including the Boeing test pilots call them 'high speed taxi' tests. They are normally performed after first flight and then again on second and third test flights depending on traffic in the pattern.
It looks good in photos depending on where they brake on the runway but this is definately not rare. You can see this any day of the week up here.

I think the new Qantas livery looks great on the 738 as I said I saw a shiny new VZA in Adelaide (most planes have vastly improved paint jobs these days). I assume that all of the VX and VY's still have the previous livery.

I wonder what they are going to do to specially painted 744 VH-OEJ and 738 VH-VXB with the Livery Change? - My advice is to leave them unchanged.

Currently, VH-VXB is sitting outside the Adelaide terminal still in its special scheme, six months ago the paintwork around the tail was very poor due to hydraulic spills, don't know if it has been touched up.
