If the rumors are correct that Air New Zealand's next 77W will be in the Crazy About Rugby colours then this is what it will look like hopefully. Can't wait to get this one...
Apollogies if there is already a thread on this.

77W ZK-OKP is the latest one built I think, and it is in standard livery. If this does happen it might be on the next aircraft in the rego sequence. It's also interesting they have recently painted a 2nd A320 into this livery wonder why so many aircraft are getting this livery.
I doubt we'll ever see it here in Australia if it does happen. They are somewhat elusive, those Air NZ B777W's
Quite the opposite now, ANZ 744s have been basically replaced by ANZ 777s including the 77W for the next few months last time I checked to Sydney. We will see the 77W quite often so if this livery happens it'll almost definately appear in Sydney.

Maybe Shayne they'll paint the whole fleet considering AB's one the world cup...

Yeah Chris, I been trying to catch my last shots of ANZ 744s in pacific swipes livery as there is only one left and came across that. It may change but we will still see 77W in the future.
Jaryd, I'd be more then happy with that! :D I've always had a thing for the 'all black' jets like the old DJ one. The A320s won't come here but the 77W would which would be great.

More Crazy About Rugby Aircraft to Appear.
More Crazy About Rugby liveried aircraft are to appear.
Plausibility rating 9/10.
Airbus A320 ZK-OJR will appear in this livery soon and we understand at lease three regional turboprops plus Boeing 777-300ER ZK-OKR will wear the scheme.

Looks good - they could replace the 'crazy about rugby' line with something about the team being champions.

Lets hope they paint the A320 engine cowlings black also. Personally not a fan of the white cowlings.

If the 77W ZK-OKR doesn't get black engines I'll be dissapointed...

No rumours here, folks. Air NZ has announced details (issued last month):
A new A320 aircraft due for delivery at the end of the month will be the second of its type to be painted in the airline’s Crazy About Rugby black livery, while the company’s regional airline, Eagle Air, will be painting three of its existing fleet of Beech 1900D turbo-props black early next year.
However, the biggest all black paint job is being saved for Air New Zealand’s fifth and final Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to be delivered to the airline in January next year. This is the longest aircraft in Air New Zealand’s fleet and it’s believed it will be the largest ever commercial aircraft to sport an all black livery.

The aircraft should be ZK-OKQ like suggested by Jaryd.
The airframe has been manufactured:

Interestingly the special livery requires 14 expert painters at Boeing working in shifts 24 hours a day to get the job done. This is expected to take about a week to complete.
I'm not sure when the B77W will be rolled out in the new livery, have heard could be as early as this week.
She should also have her first flight around New Years.

Stunning! NZ should apply it to one aircraft in the rest of thier fleet, a 767 with winglets, 737........looks amazing!

In a world of increasingly bland liveries, this NZ 777 is AWESOME!

That looks great.
Looked good on the A320, but is even better on the 777.

You can't say it's not unique. I like the paint job on all three of the types with it.

The little Beech looks cool too - they should put it on one of each aircraft type.

Oops, it looks like I've contradicted myself. I meant unique to the airline, not one craft.

Looks very cool indeed,
Tauranga is having an Airshow on the 28 & 29th
Hopefully one of the B1900 will make an appearance, even better if it's used for my flight home. :)

I read in the In-Flight Magazine on my way down to Tauranga this morning that 6 Aircraft will be painted and they are....
B777 x 1
A320 x 2
B1900 (Eagle Airways) x3

Wow, great plane on an awesome day in Wellington. The city gets a bad rap for its bad weather but when it's fine, it's glorious. Interesting to see how little runway the 77W uses when travelling light.
