Does anyone know if there are any frequencies I can program my scanner to receive for tomorrow, like the RAAF Roulettes or any Airshow frequency?

Maikha , the ERSA shows 126.15 as the Unicom frequency in use on display days , unfortunately I have no further info .

Thanks David C for the frequency! I also managed to dig up the RAAF Roulettes as well, and was very interesting to hear their conversations during all the routines.


Was there all day today and had an absolute blast! Fantastic day, and the Temora Aviation Museum did a great job organising it all, as well as the support from all the visiting aircraft. Photos will be posted later.

G'day all

As promised, here are some shots from today. Please forgive me for the quantity that have been posted. Have done my best to cull down from today's takings, of most of the events of today.

It's been a number of years since I've been to an airshow like this at Temora, and it was a great day! Myself and a few friends parked ourselves along the fence infront of the Point Cook CT-4s all day, although I briefly went to the road to get of the Constellation.

I've tried many angles and themes with my photography today, from the air display, to plane and sky, to clouds, to the people, crews, closeups of features, and many others as you'll see.

I'll start with the flying displays, then work my way back to the miscellaneous stuff!

Really really enjoyed today! Temora Aviation Museum and the visiting aircraft put on a fantastic display, and I really hope I can attend again next year, hopefully being able to fly myself in, with a gold pass, and a better camera and lens than I do now!

Thanks Nigel. Today was just the standard Canon 400D and kit lenses (18-55mm and 75-300mm) I got out of the box... 4 years ago now!

Haven't got around to upgraded the lenses yet.

A very nice collection of old vintage aircraft at the show it seems from your photographs. It makes me want to go now, would love to see these great old historic aircraft. Hopefully next year if a similar event takes place!

Now that you mention that, I probably was using the wrong medium to capture this weekend, instead, I should have been recording the audio of all the aircraft from the threshold of Runway 36. ALL the aircraft sounded spectacular, every single one of them had a distinct and unique music to it which I'm sure was enough to trigger memories of the older folks in the crowd.

In particular, the UH-1H with it's distinct 'whu whu whu whu' sound (No wonder the Vietnamese could hear them coming!) and being at the side of the runway when the Connie went to full power, just gave me goosebumps! :)
