Sydney runway 07 ops

Sydney is using runway 07 this morning for all operations. Leading to quite lengthy delays for all aircraft. I have never seen 07 used as the only runway before.

07 gets the odd workout in summer when a howling nor-easter blows, but it's fairly rare. The wind is forecast to tend north to northwest a bit later.

I was down there at the end of 07 just on the other side of the river and i can tell you the pilots where earning there money today.Most of the aircraft where alittle sideways coming in

Everyone was been told to slow down.Most where told to stay at 170 180 knots

Thunderstorms were the culprit. Back to 16L/R now, and thunderstorms still overhead.
