Was flying down from cooly this afternoon on dj520 an was told by the captain that we were going into a holding pattern over the hunter valley.Does any one know what the problem was in sydney.
Was on a new va 737 and there was no inflight ent.Was told by the hostie that it was a new aircraft and the system wouldnt be fitted till the new year.

All arrivals this afternoon Craig were on runway 7. Guessing that that could be one of the reasons. There was a small wind around, and there was the United 744, NZ772 and Qf744(QF64) all landed within 10 minutes of each other. Departures were all runway 16L&R...
