I noticed that QF 1020 this Saturday( Jan 14) from Hobart to Sydney is a 767. I suspect this is a one off due to a scout event in Tasmania. I was trying to find the last time a 767 was in Hobart but could not find any information. Does anyone know?
My source for the flight details is the Qantas Web site.
Many Thanks

767's have gone to Tasmania for the cricket - it went there a few weeks ago for the Test vs NZ.

This link shows two 767s in HBA in 2011 - OGP (December) and OGS (January) - don't know what the reasons were though.

Brett, the 767 is a regular visitor to HB in school holiday periods and other peak times such as the cricket and Sydney-Hobart yacht race. Back in the late 90s they were even on the regular timetable as a daily service. But then came Jetstar:(

VH-OGO flew this flight.
I was on it and the Captain mentioned it was an special flight due to the Scouts on board.

Will HBA get SIA 777 charters again this year?
It was these fliights that help keep its international airport status.
