Heads up to all SYD spotters that VH-OQB is planned to do a 1500ft flyover of Sydney harbour tomorrow 26 Jan for Australia Day celebrations @ 1030hrs.

As long as weather is permitting the fly by will still go ahead. This is the lowest flyover the A380 has done as previously it has only been 2500ft.

Happy Australia Day to all, hope you get some great shots !

With a cloud base of 600 feet there's no point - you wouldn't see it at 1500 feet!

Fast jet at low altitude heading south off Mona Vale, F-18 for Australia Day ??

5 min later it returned for an orbit off Mona Vale, then headed south again, no visual, but low.
