QF107/108 (LAX-JFK) back to 744?

Hi,

I'm booked on QF107 in early May to New York returning QF108 in late May. I just received an email from Qantas that the LAX JFK sector is now a 744. Is this going to be permanent? Is the A332 QF25 being dumped? I'm not complaining because I prefer the 744 but just wondering if anyone know anything.
