I'm in Eastwood, and the last couple of nights we've had blackhawks buzzing around at low altitude until very late at night.
Anyone know what is going on, and how long it will last for?

They must have missed one mailbox, then.
But thanks for the clarification :)

Sorry to sound pedantic .. That was not my intent .. I wasn't at the WOI event , and on reading the posts again , it became obvious that they didn't attend and were transiting the area .. Such a pity they didnt fly by , would have been quite a sight .. Apologies again ..

Na your right mate no worries, some people there only saw 1 or 2, I haven't seen any since 2007 so pretty rare for my eyes

They gave us our own little display with some very spirited flying low level over the ocean , before tracking N towards Sydney . Any ideas as to their destination ?

I thought I saw you there, but with 2 kids at 3 and under it was a bit hard to turn around and chase to say hello ;) The kids might also be the reason I missed the Tigers...

I only 4, although the one at the rear did some showboating for the kids as it went past Blaxland Riverside Park. :)
