Some questions on Terminal 1

Hi all,

I haven't been to terminal 1 for quite some time now,but find myself having to go there in the next few days. I try and avoid it due to parking costs,but might have to park for a short time on this occasion.
I wonder if someone may know the approximate parking costs and whether there is a short stay section and also whether the observation deck is still there and accessible.

I would be most grateful for any help

Another couple of questions about T1. I am flying to Fiji on Air Pacific on Tuesday morning. Departure time is 6.30am. What time would check in open? Also would the Tax Refund office be open early enough to be able to visit before boarding?

Check in usually opens 3 hours before departure but I read somewhere that the terminal is locked between 11pm and 4am, or is that the domestic terminals only?

T1 International terminal is opened everyday from 3AM to 11:30PM (0300 to 2330)

T2 Domestic terminal is opened everyday from 4AM to 11:00PM (0400 to 2300)

Similarly this page (http://www.sydneyairport.com.au/find/service-categories/service-listing/service-detail.aspx?cat=%7bF59D74FF-9DE0-4EB2-A135-D59D781DFEB7%7d&ser=%7b30D2784F-77C2-4EFB-A1B4-261560847D59%7d) says the TRS is open 5:00am to 10:30pm. Remember that claims cannot be made less than 30 minutes prior to departure.
