I am going to start a weekly log of major movements through YBBN .Other cities may also wish to start their own.I think this could be a good thing for the Sydney enthusiasts and the rest of the country.
Week from Sat 17 March to Fri 23 March

WED : VH-YFI delivery flight for Virgin
FRI : 757-200 TF-FIC operating for PX POM-BNE-POM.
VH-WIO Falcon first visit to BNE.
I will also add any goss etc.
Busiest day movements was 630 on Thursday.
Plenty of King Airs this week with WXC,SGQ,WXN,ZMP,ZMW,ZMY,KJD,NSN,FKB,SGV,WJW plus all the RFDS and NSW ambulance king Air's.

It's not the same as the original IL-76, I think this is a new build (~2010) aircraft with the engines of the IL-96 series (PS-90?). I doubt they'd let the original Soloviev D-30 powered examples to still fly into Australia unfortunately. :(
Still would be a great movement, we got our fair share of Russian aircraft in Sydney lately, so I think it's good that Brisbane get some too!

Afternoon all,
Saudi Arabian B777-200ER HZ-AKF and operating as SVA7225.has just departed Jakarta enroute to Brisbane. Currently due at 2130. Flightaware showing it scheduled to depart tongiht. However no secific time given as it the aircraft was delayed in departing Jakarta.
