Photos: 35th AAAA National Fly-In, Cowra NSW

G'day folks

Probably my last set of photos for a while, was last weekend's 36th Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-In, which took place at Cowra Aerodrome.

A total of about 90 Members' aircraft showed up on Saturday, of all types, histories, colours and the like. Was a great weekend, met alot of great people, made some new friends and ended up joining the association as a member. I'm sure they'll find a use for me somewhere!

All shots are taken on my Canon 400D, with a Canon 10-22mm EF-S wide angle lens (Except the 3rd shot, just a 75-300mm kit lens), and the aid of their 580EX II Flash gun, both have been worthwhile purchases!

Enjoy, and hope for the older members, some of these aircraft types can bring back some good memories :)

I was surprised driving up from Sydney on Friday afternoon to left town at a temp of 25c and arrive hours later in Cowra at 14c at about 1900. Saturday was a little overcast, temperature was good, Sunday on the other hand, BEAUTIFUL clear sky (As in the photo), but was about 9c when I got to the airport at 0730.

A great weekend overall!
