Hey guys, currently taking a couple of weeks leave in the US with the family. This is our second such tour and we were very keen to visit here again.

Yesterday, we had an absolutely awesome day at Davis Monthan AFB attending the Thunder and Lightning of Arizona Airshow. I really struggled to keep the number of photographs on this thread down, especially considering that I took over 700 photos:

Jaryd, I am not sure of the status of the Tornados, but I suspect they flew in from Red Flag as I saw them fly out early the next day.

Karl, the Guppy is not the PIMA one, it's actually an operational one.

In the meantime, I will post a thread on the next day at PIMA. I am currently in Miami and will be heading off to Portland, Oregon tomorrow to check out Spruce Goose at McMinnville.

The RAF has a detachment of Tornados based at DM - more training airspace there than in the UK.
