Hi,
yesterday I saw a Grumann amphibius aircraft over Berowra heading to Richmond or Bankstown.
It had radial engines ,was white and blue and was very low and fast. It looked like a Grumann G73 Mallard.
I saw it at 15:03

Did anyone hear or see it as well?

See ya

This was the Ch7 story tonight:

What a great report. Wish there were more of these than the unnecessary saturation about Parliamentary speakers!

A great looking aircraft. I thought I recognised the rego.

I was fortunate enough to coma across three Grummans when I visited St Lucie County Airport in Florida three years ago. N42MY is the closest of the three in this photo:

It flew to Goolwa S.A. (25/4/12) from Swan Reach and spent the day doing flights. It then flew to Ceduna that night. It's next stop will be Perth where it will be put onto the Australian register. It will then be flown to Broome where it will be based for tourist flights.
