All the social media talk eminating from the show is about how boring and mundane the show has been as far as news goes. As for me, I don't thing Boeing scoring all those orders as boring. Maybe it's the Airbus fanboys feeling deflated?

Perhaps people are just getting jaded with the massive numbers of NEO & Max orders and are hanging out for news about the big toys? No 747-8 or A380 orders this show after all. No new programmes announced (new HGW A330 notwithstanding) no big military news either...

Airbus fanboys deflated? (Cathay news also notwithstanding.) Who knows? I suspect the Mitsubishi fanboys will be happy though. :D

You betcha! :D

I've always been looking forward to the MRJ, maybe it can be a replacement (in my eyes) for the awesome YS-11, and it's a very good looking aircraft. Great news for the program after the schedule delays earlier in the year, it should be an E-190 killer with its lower weight and more fuel efficient engines, only negative is that it doesn't have room for freight carriage underneath the cabin, it has more of a Dash/ATR style bin.
