Looking at plane finder, it appears UPS33 has just aborted take off and left 34L via a high speed taxi way.

Can anyone closer to the action (i.e. not stuck out west viewing a website!) confirm if this is the case.

Thanks.

Hi Brett

Just had a listen to the ATC Achive

Yeah I just found the archive. It sounds like they didn't even start the takeoff roll when the technical issue became apparent.

Sitting at Bravo 10 waiting for departure I saw UPS sit at the threshold with a technical issue. Confirmed Virgin went around as did Qlink a short while after while UPS was rolling down the runway to vacate at A2 where they sat there for some time.

As for the issue not sure what it was exactly but they sat at A2 for a good 10-15mins before taxiing back to the freight terminal.

Just out of curiosity, what's the registration?
I'm in Indonesia at the moment. The smartphone does not allow me to navigate the ACARS data

There has been no departing flight for N288UP on ACARS.

The return flight for N288UP came up on www.16Right.com (http://www.16Right.com) ACARS 8 minutes after I made the previous post (with a UP6033 Flight Number instead of the usual UP0033).

N288UP UP6033 27/07/2012 13:49 United Parcel Service MD-11(F) Sydney-Singapore

So I wonder what happened to its payload?

I would think they would try and get what they could in to other airlines cargo holds.

Anyone know?
