VH-YIJ go-around at SYD today?

Hi,

It appears that from Flightaware, the five day old VH-YIJ did a go-around just before Kurnell at about 2pm today while operating DJ845 from Melbourne.

Does anybody know why?

Hi Steve,

My sister and her boyfriend were on that flight and they said the captain had told them there was a plane on the cross runway either slow to exit or move to wherever it was going.

Somebody with more information can elaborate.

Just listening to the tower archives, it sounds like they got a TCAS RA on final with a Virgin Embraer on 34R so had to break off the approach.
