Malaysia A380's to Melbourne from March 2013

Malaysia Airlines will introduce their A380's to Melbourne from March 2 2013. It will operate the MH129/128 evening service. MH149/148 will remain an A330-300.

So from March, Melbourne will have 6x daily A380 services.

1x - Qantas - MEL-LAX/LAX-MEL (QF93/94)
1x - Qantas - MEL-SIN-LHR/LHR-SIN-MEL (QF9/10)
2x - Singapore Airlines - SIN-MEL/MEL-SIN (SQ227/228) (SQ217/218)
1x - Emirates - DXB-MEL-AKL/AKL-MEL-DXB (EK406/407)
1x - Malaysia Airlines - KUL-MEL/MEL-KUL (MH129/128)

Morning all,

Malaysia this evening has cancelled plans to start A380's service to Melbourne from March 2013.

As per 05OCT12 GDS inventory display, Malaysia Airlines has cancelled planned Airbus A380 service to Australia.

Details:

Kuala Lumpur – Melbourne Planned A380 service on MH129/128 from 01MAR13 is cancelled. Service to maintain 2 daily A330-300 service
MH129 KUL1015 – 2110MEL 333 D
MH149 KUL2210 – 0905+1MEL 333 D

MH128 MEL0045 – 0605KUL 333 D
MH148 MEL1500 – 2020KUL 333 D
