View Full Version : Reconfigured QF A380 Economy Class

Has anyone seen or heard what the new small economy cabin is like at the rear of QF's A380? I've pre-selected seats 36J and 36K for next year, but I'm worried the noise from the galley might be a bit too much.

However, having no seat in between us is a plus, as is the prospect of a window with an unobstructed view.

Any comments would be appreciated, especially about the window in this row, as the seating charts look like there may not actually be a window there?

Cheers

Ryan.

Thanks Gents.

I've gone for 36 J and K. I am interested to know if de-boarding is down the stairs and through the main cabin, or through the upstairs cabin. The thought of being behind 450 people at immigration and customs is horrible!

Cheers.

Cannot see why when deboarding Qantas would have an issue with those passengers using the upper deck exit. Afterall they will be behind the J and Y+ pax anyway, so no issue of queue jumping there.

Singapore boards and de-boards their upper economy class through business class. The line to board is much shorter as well!!

Ryan, disembarkation for Upper Deck Economy customers is through U1L door, immediately following Business and Premium Economy. So you would actually be the first Economy passengers off the aircraft, due to Main Deck Economy being held until the whole Upper Deck is clear.

Also, 36J/K do have a window.

Thanks Brendan, I think I'll definitely stick with these seats then!

Thought SQ had removed economy from their upper deck

Could be doing it Peter, but I travelled on them only back in April, so there was at least a few with the upper deck economy.
