When you say visit soon Stefan, are the 330s replacing the 744s or are we getting the 380s, or have I totally embarrassed myself and that is a freighter:p.

It is a pax aircraft. A330's currently operate all services to BNE, ADL, MEL and PER.They will start Sydney services from March 2013 operating MH141/140 replacing the B777.

The A380 replaces the B747 on MH123/122 in November.

A6-EGX 777-300ER Emirates has been delivered & entered service today flying Dubai-Casablanca. Hopefully, it will visit BNE & MEL in the coming weeks.

According to the Perth Airport Spotters Blog VH-FVN (Virgin Australia/Skywest ATR72-600) has started its delivery flight to Australia from Toulouse to Perth, with a approximate arrival of 21.15 on Tuesday 11th September.

I dont know I was just relaying information I saw on a website however it did say "pre service modifications to be carried out in Perth, before then continuing onto Brisbane." So I'm guessing BNE based like the rest of the fleet?

Virgin Australia B737-800 VH-YIQ entered service today. Its 1st service was DJ304/319 BNE-MEL-BNE. It is currently in Sydney after arrivng from Brisbane as DJ946.

Seems that YIR is spending 19 odd hours on the ground in Hawaii. This seems to be a rather long time. Is it normal?

Appears to be only spending a couple hours at Nadi, which sounds about right.

Not an expert but I'd imagine one crew probably takes the aircraft right through to NAN where another crew would take over? And probably the second crew would've ferried in from Oz in time to do so?

Cathay Pacific has taken delivery of Airbus 330-300 B-LAP today. Should become a regular visitor to Australia.
