QLink expands NSW services

Just noticed this on QF's website... main point is the introduction of 8 weekly GLT-SYD services on Q400 from 4/3/13.

Not surprising although I did wonder if they would use B717 for a GLT-SYD... clearly not!

Flight time is probably only about 2 hours, they are factoring in taxi time.

I have done the same amount of time in a Q400 between Brissie and Longreach many times, it isn't that bad.

Looks like the new VH-LQH operated the inaugural SYD-GLT flight yesterday (4/3/13).

QantasLink will discontinue the Gladstone service from the end of August.
