Hi guys,

For the first time in 30 years an aircraft has been crashed, on purpose, to assist in learning more about the effect of such a high velocity incident on the human body.

Seems as though if your plane crashes the middle of the aircraft is where you want to be seated! Economy is looking better and better all the time!

Some footage on the link as well. Will try to find other reports latter in the day.

Apparently a documentary is being made on the whole experiment and is meant to be screened on British TV next month...

Cheers

It must be a slow news day.

This event happened back in late April, and was actually reported in this very message board http://yssyforum.net/board/showthread.php?t=8161&highlight=B727

Well what'ya know...

I saw the article, thought it had to be new news, had a quick scan over the board to see if it had been posted, which it hadn't so up it went!

Mods, please delete if necessary.

Nigel must have had an even more quiet day today, since he found the originating thread... :p

I'm actually glad it was posted twice as I missed the first time.

Wow it is so dead in here at the best of times, any post is welcome to me! :)

It has dropped off in terms of activity, but then there's not a lot of news and activity happening in the industry in general either.

Maybe we need to have another DoG night soon?

Night at the DoG sounds good.

Though having said that their steaks arent as good as they used to be sadly.
