Morning All!

Various sources are reporting an announcement by QF that all weekday PER-SYD and PER-MEL services will be operated by A330 equipment from May 2013. Australian Business Traveller is also reporting this will be made possible in part by the reallocation of A330s from JQ as the 787s come online. I've also noticed S13 doesn't appear to have A330-200s operating international services?

Does anyone have any info on what the upgraded schedules will look like, the order of transfer from JQ to QF and/or the A332 international deployments?

Thanks very much
Rowan

The intl S13 schedule is still the base schedule expect to see some changes such as the A332s added and some more changes to HKG and SIN flying.

JQ get the 787s next year... Apparently 3 to 4 will arrive very close to each other which will allow a few A332s to be transfered to QF domestic.

Cheers

Sadly the schedules are still showing 767s etc on MEL/SYD-PER for all of next season. When is it likely the S13 changes will start to show up?

Cheers

There are no JQ A330's going to Qantas until the B787's arrive from August.

QF has announced (http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/media-releases/jan-2013/5480/global/en) it's bringing forward the effective date of its all-A330 weekdays SYD-PER-SYD to April. At the same time it will move to all-refurbished 767s on the BNE-PER-BNE which obviously releases one A332 to take up the extra SYD flying. All-A330 weekdays MEL-PER-MEL still starts May 2013.

Actually the removal of A330s from the BNE-PER-BNE should free up around 2 A330s as its currently double daily A332s.

I noticed from May onwards pretty much all A330 SYD-PER and MEL-PER flights will be operated by the 5 domestic A332s... Possibly freeing up currently used intl A330s to perhaps achieve the speculated intl service increases?
