Evening all,
MU739/740 tomorrow is being operated by A330-300 B-6126 which is wearing orange/red "People's Daily" livery. This is its 2nd visit to Sydney in this livery, its 1st visit was on Tuesday operating the same flight.
Slight correction Stefan but it visited in this scheme for the first time on 9th July 2012, very shortly after getting the special livery. It hasn't visited in quite some time up until the last few days though.

Does anyone know if Air China's "Smiling China" B77W has been parked at the pond near the Qantas jetbase for today?

Anybody have any info on what's happened to the UPS MD11 that's been sitting around on various bays for the past week or so?

It looked like it had an engine change. I was in Sydney 5.5 days and I saw it get towed to the Qantas Hangers on Thursday afternoon. It appeared yesterday afternoon when it got towed to Rwy 25 holding point and was doing engine runs, you could see the smoke billowing out from engines powering up. I then saw it QF Jet base when I was departing back to Adelaide yesterday afternoon.

Would you happen to know which UPS MD11 this was?
Saw this at the QF Jet base today, then just after lunch it got towed over to the Cargo Ramp.

It was the No 2 engine they had to change. I imagine it would be a pain in the back side to do

Don't P&W 4000s always do that on full power? :D
