Hi,

Could anyone explain what happened to Virgin flight 876 SYD-MEL on 21st of Feb ?

Looks like it was put to waiting pattern, but then diverted back to Sydney.

If the 21st is the day I'm thinking of, it was due to storm activity in Melbourne.

In Canberra we had a jitconnect 737 divert to take on fuel and our last departure to Melbourne we approx three hours late.

It looks like several other guys were affected at the very same time as well.
Interesting that VOZ876 went all way back to Sydney instead of keep waiting. For example VOZ874 landed in Melbourne before VOZ876 reached Sydney.
