QF1 In Abu Dhabi

I noticed yesterday's QF1 was diverted to Abu Dhabi before continuing onto Dubai and London. What was the reason for the diversion?

This is starting to become a regular occurance, apparently it's due to the traffic holding in DXB and the A380 being fuel critical but not getting preference.

A few weeks ago there was a diversion to BAH.
