Cessna 152 VH-KKB made a brief appearance in the GA around 1115. It departed just after 1210 off Rwy 16R.


Did the C152 "Heavy" use the full length ?

Think you'll find it was a forum member flying it on a 'KFC' run:).
Sydney centre amusingly asked kkb to triple verify they were intending to land at Sydney on first contact:) must be a first for a 152 in there- I know some 172s have flown in years ago..

Kkb was held over the bridge before being cleared visual into 16L.

Shortly after kkb landed QLK24 dh8-300 had an incident and required immediate turn back to 16L. Alarms sounding in background and pilot was barely audible .. Anyone know what happened to them?

Yesss...I escorted KKB from Tango-2 to the KFC and the KK, then got them delivered to Bravo-3 holding point for 16R and a direct ysbk at 1500'. ;)

The Dash-8 returned and then departed shortly after, the problem apparently sorted itself after landing.
