Emirates has taken delivery of A380 A6-EEH, it is configured for Australia flights. It is currently en-route to Melbourne as EK406, this is its 1st revenue service.

Skyliners is reporting that A330-300 9M-XXJ for Air Asia X has begun its delivery flight from Toulouse-Kuala Lumpur. Sydney, Perth, Melbourne & Coolangatta should see this aircraft sometime soon.

I read somewhere a while back airlines typically have to install some carrier- or country-specific equipment themselves once they get the aircraft home. Don't know what exactly though. Be interesting to find out!

I'm not certain, but it is quite possible that Qantas put their own seat overs on once ac is in Aus, I say this because the seat covers in some of the XZ series don't look totally fresh...I'd imagine this process would take atleast a day.

Hawaiians next A330 N393HA was parked on one of the western ramps in LAX during delivery flight to HNL. We should be seeing this one in Sydney in no time.
