Hi All,

As reported in Australian Aviation Newsletter, Fiji Airways has now retired their Last B747-400 "Island of Vanua Levu" Rego: DQ-FJK at a service in the Hanger.

Details are hereFiji Airways has retired its last 747-400 following the delivery of its third A330-200 earlier this month.

Fiji Airways staff were able to farewell DQ-FJK Island of Vanua Levu at an event in the airline’s Nadi maintenance hangar on Tuesday where they were able to write farewell messages on the aircraft’s fuselage before the 747, the last to wear the old Air Pacific livery, was due to depart Nadi on Wednesday afternoon, bound for Tupelo, Mississippi

I was very lucky to be in Fiji the past week and actually witnessed the last departure of the Air Pacific 747 400 out of Nadi, flew straight over our hotel!

Really good timing if you ask me!

I'm guessing this must have been one of the final Ex Ansett aircraft still flying. Ex ANB, if you weren't aware.

Does anyone know if there are any others still flying?

Cheers

Jet2 still has a number of 733s and Skyways a few F50s. Haven't checked the A320s....

Most of the ex AN A320's have been scrapped.

Most of the ex AN 733's are still flying.
