Free Qantas Frequent Flyer Offer

One thing I don't get about this QFF free offer is that most people can enjoy free enrolment via Woolie's Everyday Rewards program. This has been available for a long time. I am just bewildered as to why QF suddenly decided to waive the 'fee' given it has essentially been "free" all along.

No wonder its free to join with qantas directly , after just announcing yesterday the devaluing of the points earning system for most booking classes
