Hi all,
Today seemed like an Australian airport with four Aussie 737's flying at the one time (I think a first here).
QF -VZD and -VZE continuing testflights.
DJ -VUP went on delivery through Lihue, HI.
And a Wedgy to round out the day.
Maybe some piccies tomorrow when I recover.
:D
Scott.

Scott,
interesting that they went thru Lihue since there is no jet fuel available there, our mainland flights have been going to HNL to fuel after departing Lihue then taking a 30 minute ground stop to take on fuel.

Ray,
Virgin Blue not Pacific Blue.
No lady artwork and no name.
Scott.

Mike,
That is strange then but I assume they have it figured out!

I'm sure they did...either diverted to HNL (which is likely) since their second leg shows a HNL departure..or they got to Lihue and were able to find enough fuel for the 40 minute trip over here.

Anyway, I'm off to Beijing today and we know they have lots of fuel there.

Cheers

Hi Mike.

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/VHVUP

Of course not doubting you for a minute regarding the fuel situation, however flightaware shows VUP into/out of LIH. I have it on good authority that the plane went via LIH and not HNL.

The next E190, ZPE will be planning via LIH too at this stage.

Cheers.
