Was wondering since Australia Post has ended it's partnership with Qantas does Qantas Freight still carry a large volume of express mail on it's domestic overnight services.

Wasn't it just an asset exchange? (Startrack to Aust post & Aust air to qantas). I see a bucket load of Aust post loading for Qantas aircraft anytime I'm around their terminal.

Yes as stated above, just an asset change. Aus post would still be the Domestic Freights biggest customer.

Thanks for the response guy's. I know the BAE146 aircraft are operated by Cobham but any idea if they will follow suit and wear the Qantas Freight colours any time soon?

Haven't the B737's been repainted in the QF Freight livery ?

Yeah Greg the 737's have but not sure if they are planning on repainting the BAE 146's. Can't find any information anywhere in regards to their plans.

There was an AAE liveried B737 in Sydney a couple of nights ago. I presume this will be repainted at some stage?

All B733Fs will be painted as well as eventually the 146s. All AAE freight facilities have been rebranded Qantas Freight, AAE staff are now part of QF freight and wear QF uniforms.

So basically AAE no longer exist they have been taken over 100% by Qantas Freight.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Brad I'm just a bit of a freight dog and have been overseas for a while so trying to catch up. I hear Pionair are now Skyforce and their Convairs no longer doing the nightly run from Bankstown to Melbourne.

Skyforce has two 146's.

One in Oz & other stored in UK.

Have they actually gone into service as yet ?

XMB is currently in Singapore getting a paint job

Hi Greg

VH-XMB has been repainted into Qantas Freight colours and was photographed as such in Perth on 7 April.

Cheers
