Looks like ANZ119 being operated by All Blacks 77W ZK-OKQ.

3rd visit now, but probably last to Sydney for foreseeable future.

Tony G 11th March 2012 01:16 PM

Just seen it come past landing on 07. Any idea on a take off time Shayne. Thank you.

Shayne G 11th March 2012 01:25 PM

It will operate the ANZ118 back to Auckland at 15:30. ;)

George G 11th March 2012 07:01 PM

A6-EHB again tomorrow although on the EY450/451 service. A nice chance to get the -500 in daylight for those who may not have already.

**Also for anyone out tomorrow, a member of the forum is flying out on SQ242(Mon 12/3) if someone could shoot it and post he would appreciate it!

Hi folks

BNE website is showing QF6717 departing for SYD this arvo (1330L) and QF6716 returning this evening (1830L)... this indicates 1600L arrival and 1800L departure at SYD and seems likely (to me anyways) it would be the B717 VH-NXN that has been doing route proving in BNE the last couple of weeks.

Would be interesting to see whether this is a B717 and, if so, whether it might be route in anticipation of some upcoming SYD-based B717 ops?

Edit: SYD site shows both flights as QLink but with 1635 arrival and 1730 departure... Q400??

Cheers
Rowan

Mark T 12th March 2012 03:18 PM

QF6717 is showing on the Brisbane Airport site as cancelled but still showing with an arrival time on the Sydney Airport site of 16:35.

Jayden Laing 13th March 2012 05:03 AM

CX23 today is operated by B748F, B-LJF. Due in at 1050am.

Rowan McKeever 13th March 2012 01:28 PM

Hey folks! QF6717 seems to be on (again?) today. BNE site shows it departed at 1225L with SYD site showing arrival expected at 1449L (scheduled 1520L). Anyone know anything about this flight?? Ta, Rowan

Shayne G 13th March 2012 01:40 PM

Q400 unfortunately Rowan.

Rowan McKeever 13th March 2012 01:42 PM

Thought it might be Shayne, thanks heaps. Flight time too long for a jet. Do you know if there's a planned return flight today as there was yesterday (before the rotation was cancelled)? Cheers!

Edit: just heard a "QLink 716D" on radio departing SYD - heading for BNE?

J Brown 13th March 2012 04:57 PM

QF62xx flights are 717's

Tim Bowrey 13th March 2012 06:17 PM

It was VH-LQF and wouldn't you expect to hear the rego used as the callsign for the QF 717's?

It departed for Adelaide, VH-QOY was the rego. It then departed adelaide for kalgoorlie and Perth. beleived to be the 3rd Q400 to be based there.

Zac M 13th March 2012 07:31 PM

Is there any rotation of those Q400s in Perth?

Rowan McKeever 13th March 2012 09:44 PM

Thanks guys!

Stefan that's interesting... when are they likely to announce the schedules for the third Q400 in PER then??

Tim is that normal with the 717s to use the rego as the callsign? Was trying to listen to some 717s on liveatc this arvo but obviously picked a lousy time as there were none, not even in PER!!

Shayne G 13th March 2012 10:43 PM

Tomorrows Korean Air KE121/122 is being operated by HL7714 which is a B772.

Not sure what routes it will do. I am still trying to confirm whether it is a3rd based aircraft or a swapover for VH-LQD or LQG.

Yes I believe the B717's always use their rego as their callsign.

David C 14th March 2012 05:17 AM

Today's KE 121/122 is being operated by B772 , HL 7714 ..

Look on previous page of this thread...

Tim Bowrey 15th March 2012 12:25 PM

Brindabella Airlines' newest Metro VH-OZV is parked opposite Bay 34 wearing an interesting black and white hybrid scheme with the old Airtex paint with a FQ logo on the nose.

Chen W 15th March 2012 08:59 PM

tomorrow amd sunday MU561 will be operated by B-6100

Jayden Laing 16th March 2012 08:56 AM

Chris,
Anything with NEW titles, NEW rego's (1st & 2nd time visitors), NEW decals whatever it may be that has changed in its appearance IS NOTEWORTHY...... An aircraft running over 12+ hours isnt noteworthy!! All aircraft run late at some stage.

Just saying....

Shayne G 16th March 2012 09:24 AM

Jayden, an exemption to the running late rule is if it is an aircraft that always visits in darkness but is delayed enough to see it in daytime ie, AAE 733s.

This thread is for anything noteworthy like first visits, charters, Ad hocs, equipment changes, night visitors in daylight, rare one off visitors, new colour schemes/titles/livery, special livery visits (preferably overseas visitors) etc.

Obviously somethings can still be noted that don't meet those areas just need to use common sense.

I'll admit I miss the old forum style though ;)

Tim Bowrey 16th March 2012 09:40 AM

At first I thought the same, why would this be noteworthy? It's a daily flight always A346?

In fact tomorrow's VS200 is deffinatly noteworthy! G-VEIL is the first A340-600 to wear the new scheme just released yesterday and I think looks fantastic.

In Jayden and Shaynes defence, Chris you probably should have mentioned why it was noteworthy.

Shayne G 16th March 2012 09:48 AM

Cheers Tim, I saw the new livery today on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8v-rgGAl5bk

Jayden and I were responding to Chris D's original post, he did not state it was coming here just to look out for it for the future. He edited his post several times afterwards like per usual. :D

Rowan McKeever 16th March 2012 10:19 PM

Looks great... why couldn't they have sent it on Wednesday so I could've seen it!! Hope to see some more pics from tomorrow :)

Looking at the BOM website the rain seems to clearing out to sea, so hopefully by Arvo cloud should have lifted a bit....

Stefan Perkas 17th March 2012 04:29 PM

Evening all,

Another forum has stated that World Airways MD11F N381WA is due ex. Kuala Lumpur at around 2215. It is operating on behalf of Etihad Cargo as 'Etihad 9876'.

Brad Varney 17th March 2012 04:34 PM

So that's why there's an Etihad 9876 on the YSSY site.
Thanks Stefan

Shayne G 17th March 2012 04:39 PM

Departs back to KUL tomorrow at 9:30am

Tim Bowrey 17th March 2012 09:11 PM

World MD11 just landed headed for Bay 3.

Shayne G 18th March 2012 06:18 AM

The World Airways MD-11F departure time has pushed back to 10:30am now.

..more time for anyone that sleeps in ;)

Tim Bowrey 18th March 2012 09:31 AM

EY9877 just received clearance for HKG.

Has since departed.

Stefan Perkas 18th March 2012 02:04 PM

Afternoon all,

New JQ A320 VH-VFF entered service today operating JQ506/509 MEL-SYD-MEL.

Brad Varney 18th March 2012 04:07 PM

Jetgo VH-JTG ERJ 135 landed 16L about half an hour ago,
I think it's at the GA.

Shayne G 18th March 2012 07:26 PM

Tomorrows EY450/451 being operated by A6-EHA A340-500.

They seem to be becoming more common now but still noteworthy to some I presume..

Jaryd stock 18th March 2012 08:56 PM

Noteworthy to me Shayne haven't got a proper shot yet of one, plus not long till Etihad get rid of them...

Peter Agatsiotis 19th March 2012 09:53 AM

Air China today is B-6540 operated CA173.
