the a380 can't fit in that hangar I believe, it only goes into Hangar 96 so it wouldn't been there, nevertheless it captured most of the fleet types!
|
Yeah, you are all right - it is an A332. D Chan is right - I don't think the whalejet fits in that hangar anyway. Oh well, it looks close enough to the naked eye :p

Star's committment on their paint jobs leaves them for dead :o |
It's interesting the reaction to the oneworld livery. I think they've done a better job than Star Alliance in that the airline identity remains and there's no confusion.
I've seen many Star Alliance planes. The livery is plain and boring really (and that's in my opinion), and whilst spotting a lot of people ask 'where's Star Alliance from?'. Singapore Airlines didn't want the Star Alliance image taking over theirs so the SQ birds look different to the other members planes. So oneworld have come up with a good compromise in that the airline identity is retained (as it should) and yet we still know they're part of, and promoting oneworld, while each airline can retain their identity as well. (Though I have seen shots of the Royal Jordanian logojet and yes, I know it's white instead of the standard colours). Had oneworld copied Star Alliance's approach, I can imagine the reaction then! Any word on SkyTeam? I think there's also going to be some logojets for them soon? Dan |
Update: the A332's EBL is currently getting it's One World decals applied. Should be out of the hanger for all to see mid Monday morning ... unless someone can get a sneak peak before hand ;)
|
Got towed inside the hanger at 2pm and doors 90% shut, lights out at 2:45pm for the rest of the day. Should be applied tomorrow and I will find out when EBL does her next flight to get some idea of when it will be rolled out.

ooops , just found this thread, as posted in spotting ( BA 747-400) There is a Qantas A330 parked at the Jetbase with the One world logo. Looks good it adds some body to the usually small Qantas titles.
