I heard some aircrafts needed to hold on Brisbane Centre 123.4 - not sure if it is weather related. I heard the controller told one of the pilots that there was military exercise at Newcastle.

There were a couple of go-arounds due to windshear.

Get ready for some more fun and games this morning.

Wind 090 at 20 gusting to 35 with showers of rain.

Could potentially put it outside crosswind limits for wet runways if it rains hard enough.

Fingers crossed it doesn't!

Oh well, it is just a few more weeks before Runway 25/07 reopens.

If we get out in time that is

I believe the fence has to be down by the 13th June, as that's when flight testing of the ILS will commence.

I believe it won't matter where your works are up to, but it will restrict the amount of time you have in a day to get it completed. We're due to get a full briefing on where it's at in the next couple of weeks.
