Hi Trevor,
I was told it was a contained high pressure turbine blade seperation (similar to QF32).

Hmmm, I'm not sure that I'd say that it's 'similar' to QF32. VH-OQA's engine failure was an uncontained high pressure turbine DISC failure. Very different to a blade failure.
