LOT repatriation flight from Sydney
 

According to the LOT Polish Airlines site they will be operating a repatriation flight from Sydney to Warsaw this Saturday 28/3/20 . The flight is timetabled to depart at 23:55hrs and operated by a 787-9 . The flight number is LO8549. The departure time is within the curfew so I’m not sure if that is 100% correct .

Any details on the flight flying into sydney?

No further details . The LOT website is showing the SYD flight as no longer available on the the 28th March , so I’m not sure what’s going on there . Perhaps it’s already sold out ? . Time will tell I suppose .

The number of additional LOT repatriation flights from Heathrow to Warsaw has been staggering, mostly 787s, also extra 737s. Some days an extra 4-5 flights!

I was on Flightaware just now. Checked all the LOT 787's and it seems like SP-LSA will be the one flying into Sydney (currently on its way to Singapore from Bangkok). However one thing I do find odd is that Flightaware is saying that the scheduled flight into Sydney will land at approximately at 2:00AM Sydney time. I'm pretty sure that arrival is within the curfew? Someone tell me this is a mistake in the data?

Ah ok thanks for the answer. Btw, SP-LSA has just departed Singapore heading for YSSY.

Arrived 34L at 1.30am local, managed to film the landing. Another one coming March 31 (subject to change).

Scheduled to depart at 22:55 this evening as LO8548, again via SIN.

Went to see it at the gate today. Missed the turn and had to go around and come back. While turning back, an Air China A333 decided to park infront of the LOT 787. Only managed to get shots of the tail. :(

Schedule not known yet?

It will be Wednesday April 1, confirmed. No known time yet though.

9:10pm tomorrow night. LO8547 from BKK.

Departing Sydney as LOT8548 again on April 1, 6.55PM.

What bad timing on both flights.

At least it's a different aircraft. This time a newer SP-LSG.
