getting ready to start up the services to Denpasar and Jakarta from QF.
I wouldn't be overly surprised if they would start doing something domestically as well, although QF have that pretty much wrapped up. |
Love to see where they are going to put their extra aircraft....

although they will be taking over existing QF routes, so i guess they take their slots. but if they want to expand....they better make it at convenient times for themselves so they can get slots! |
They have a place Brendan, don't you worry.

Well the new freight apron was opened today so there is 3 free spots now available down the end there.

What time does it come in usually? or is it an occasional visitor? |
The 727 is based in PERTH!!! ETD is 1900hrs and ETA is 0345hrs the next morning. When VLH got taken out of service they lost freight capacity and you need at least 2 737F's to keep up with 1 727F fuel vs payload etc. When VLI heads off in 2009 or 2010 they would need to base 3 737F's in Perth just to keep up with having both 727's gone. QF are banking on using cargo space on 747,767, A330 for the capacity gap that was caused, however I dont think they thought about the 747's retiring.

Thanks for the info Brenden:)
