Jetstar from HNL - cancellation and delayed pax

I have a friend who is currently stranded at HNL airport with their Jetstar return flight to Sydney cancelled. No-one knows why, nor when they will be getting home (some people are saying might be a couple of days). Anyone know the story? u/s aircraft?

I just got back from HNL not 3 weeks ago and i miss it so much :(

i love hnl, and couldnt think of a better place to get an extra couplde of days!!!!
