National Jet -> Cobham Aviation Services

Hi all,

This weekend National Jet is changing over to Cobham Aviation Services. The rebranding is being done this weekend.

Also the aircraft will have some changes, the NJS Logo will be removed from the tails, and be left plain dark blue.

The National Jet wording will be changed to Cobham.

I'll update everybody on the rest of the changes when I can.

VH-NJL is returning from ADL from Heavy Maintenance with it's new titles Sunday afternoon around 1700.

Cheers,

Carsten

VH-NJT, NJN, NJL, JSJ have been done so far.
Its actually Cobham Aviation Services Australia. the National Jet titles are being replaced by COBHAM, and the tail is staying as is for the time being. The name change is due to a world wide aligning of the company and its branding.

Carsten et al,

I imagine this will involve a change of callsign over the airwaves too, for the RPT services, eg Christmas Island, etc?

What about the IATA Airline Designator code? Does that stay as NC?

Cheers,
Scott

Good question. I'll see what the callsign is for today's Christmas/Cocos flight, but I dare say it'll still be National 108. The National callsign is only used for the Cocos/Christmas flight, and whenever the company does any non-normal ops such as the regular minesite charters, in which case the rego is used as the callsign.

CAvSA is the abbreviation being used.
