Airbus with single-flash pattern?
Noticed a Sichuan Airlines A330, B-308Q fly overhead at the Gladesville Bridge as I was on the ferry up the river last night.
However, the flash pattern did not look like the traditional Airbus double-flash, nor the newer, more rapid version of it. It appeared to be a single flash pattern, but every second flash looked like it was slightly offset from the first. Is this a new thing for Airbus? Never seen it before. |
I’ve flown on many A380’s and always note the very irregular upper fuselage strobe . There is no regularity to it’s flash pattern as seen on the tail mounted camera .

Qatar A330 feature the offset twin anti collision lights on the fuselage, B308q must be one of them?

Maybe.
I'm trying to keep an eye out for it, to see if I can see it again. If I'm prepared for it, I may be able to spot some additional detail. |
