Ancient Jumbo Jet Part Of The Problem

An interesting story from the SMH.

What is the scrapped Jetstar Pacific aircraft, I do not remember that one.

Hi Graeme. Jetstar Pacific had a couple of very old 737-400's which I flew on & saw in Vietnam in 2011. This appears to be the remains of one of them.

Don't forget the ex Virgin blue B737-700 next to the Jetstar.

Depending on when the photo was taken, it could ve either VN-A190 or VN-A191

Hi Phil. Which VOZ 737-700 is it, & who was it last flying with ? I didn't know that any of the VOZ 73G's were this far down the food chain !

Patrick Malseed 5th December 2013 09:16 AM

Hi Greg, Correct these 2 airframes are VN-A190 and VN-A191. VN-A190 is listed as being for scrapping and VN-A191 is listed as being for storage.
This was the last published status as of April 2013. Both frames may have since departed this world. It has been difficult to get updated information out of Cotswold Airport recently.
VN-A192 and VN-A194 were flown into St Athan airfield South Wales for disposal. I think these 2 airframes have been cut up now. Unless anyone has more up to date info.

Ian, it would be ex VBW or VBX, both have been scrapped. VBU is at Victorville, apparently it was never delivered to AR so it may be heding the same way!

Cheers Zac. Thanks for the reply. Do you happen to recognise the colours that the fuselage is in ?

Zac M 5th December 2013 10:47 AM

Both last operated for a company called Lucky Air
